Our team aims to tackle the challenges in conventional process analytics, diagnostics, and therapeutics by combining sensor engineering and nanotechnology. As sensor scientists, our mission is to develop innovative analytical systems that enhance smart chemical and biological production and promote precision medicine. 

To fulfill these objectives, we explore scientific questions about which optoelectronic materials including semiconducting carbon nanotubes, instrumental interfaces, mathematical modeling, and artificial intelligence (AI) can be combined into a powerful online sensor system. Our research covers all aspects of future sensor system engineering, ranging from molecular recognition design, signal transductions, hardware integrations, to AI-based data analytics.
