We are an interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers at SKKU
exploring the frontiers of nanoscale molecular interfaces.
Our team aims to tackle the challenges in conventional process analytics, diagnostics, and therapeutics by combining carbon surface chemistry and sensor system engineering. As nanoscale scientists, our mission is to develop innovative analytical systems that enhance smart chemical and biological production and promote precision medicine.
To fulfill these objectives, we explore scientific questions about how the sp3-sp2 quantum and chemical interfaces of semiconducting carbon nanotubes can be tailored and combined with instrumental interfaces, mathematical modeling, and artificial intelligence (AI). Our research covers all aspects of future sensor systems, ranging from rational carbon-molecular interface design, signal transductions, hardware integrations, to AI-based data analytics.
